This is an internal for Canova so she's likely up more than this, but it looks like she was definitely hurt from the last week.

She will pull through, as she should.

Been demonised unnecessarily by Bernie crowd looking for someone to blame.

I wouldn't entirely call it unnecessarily, but I don't care nearly as much now that she's been sacked from the DNC.

Cantor was also up in the polls. Not saying this will be the same, but it's not out of the question.

I tend to think she will lose.  The anti-establishment sentiment is strong enough now IMO.

I don't like either, but I'm backing DWS because I'll almost always oppose a Bernie-bot.

So Debbie leads by 8 in an internal poll for her challenger?  Lol.  Safe Debbie, and might I say a well deserved win.

Debbie's going to win, though hopefully she's learned something from the past couple of weeks.

This is literally the one time when the Berniebot is the better candidate.

It doesn't really matter whether or not she did, since she's now an irrelevant backbencher anyway.

LOL. I'd be shocked if she won by less than 20. Look at the socioeconomic fundamentals of the district itself + the presidential primary results. If it's closer, then the emails and/or her chaotic end at the DNC made it happen.

Here's to hoping Canova wins this round and then a well-financed normal progressive (i.e. not for "auditing the fed") beats Canova in 2018.

Very low numbers for Disgraced Debbie, corrupt DNC chair. Not good!

You're probably right, but I'm sure at least some Hillary voters are pissed off at DWS for nearly ruining Our Glorious Queen's convention with her reverse Midas touch. I'd vote for Canova for this reason. But considering Hillary carried the district by nearly 40 points, that gives her quite a bit of room for error. Plus Bernie voters are less likely to vote in a low turnout Congressional primary, which just helps her even more.

Then again, I don't think this will really matter unless Trump wins. I have no doubt that DWS was offered some type of position in the Clinton administration in exchange for stepping down. DWS isn't exactly the type to fall on her sword gracefully without a price, considering she was going to call Obama a misogynistic anti-semite if he tried to get rid of her (which makes it pretty ironic she ended up getting forced out by a woman and a Jew.)

Worth noting here that Canova is hiring a TON of paid canvassers for the last month.

I've never been through the district, I'm not looking at the ads in its media market, and I don't know what DWS's campaign looks like. But Canova's ground game looks impeccable from my 30k feet, facebook friends with a couple of his Field Organizers point of view.

Obviously Dishonest Debbie needs to go from my point of view, and Canova seems like a decent guy.

Yeah, I typically oppose Berniebots almost always by default, but in this case I hope Disgraced Debbie loses.
