When will Cherney pick his VP? This race isn't over yet. Delegates don't vote until the convention.

He seems like a good choice. It doesn't make up for the person on the top of the ticket, though.

I wonder if strategy is to trick Black voters.  Think Baraka vs Barack.  May thing Obama is VP.

This is a very valid concern, assuming you belive that all African-Americans are functionally illiterate or too dumb to know who Hillary Clinton is.

Not matter of stupid.  Americans work longer hours than other western counterparts & hold elections on Tuesday.  Too Quick a look at ballot could flip vote.

Know absolutely nothing about him, and I'll bet it's the same for most of us.
Too bad about Nina. Appealing to BernieOrBusters was probably Jill's best bet.

It's possible. Very, very possible. This is why Clinton/Kaine should be worried that some black voters may be "tricked" in MI, OH, MD, and it could affect Clinton's black vote totals.

Aaaand the last time the Greens Party was relevant is still Nader 2000. No surprise they picked a literally who though, I guess.

Third parties are a joke and always will be until one of the big two splits.

To be clear I am strongly in favor of literacy, and Blacks and Whites are probably not so much different in literacy ability as one would think.

Lots more blacks go to prison, but in prison they do have literacy programs plus "house lawyers" guys who have been through run of the mill of legal system and know ins and outs from experience.

These will not be people voting en masse.  But that is not concern.

Barack will not be forgotten and Baraka similarity to Barack is as obvious to the illiterate as the literate.  Possbly more so.

I don't expect this to swing more than few points of electorate but in close election that could be the difference.

There are many illiterate whites too.  Who will definitely gravitate to Trump now, but the real question is, does this resonate.

It all pales in comparison to peoples feelings.

The Libertarians are finally starting to mature, but the Greens are just gonna remain a joke if they keep nominating activists like Stein.

Americans work longer hours than other western counterparts & hold elections on Tuesday.

The first statement is inaccurate, since Americans work, on average, 1789 hours per year, which is roughly in the middle of the pack when you rank OECD countries.  The second is irrelevant.  I'm not going to be any more likely on a Tuesday than, say, on a Friday, to confuse a candidate with another.

True enough, too quick a look can flip a vote, but anyone who isn't aware that Obama is not constitutionally allowed to run for a third term is testament to a much greater problem facing the US than either voter apathy or presumed overwork.

I think Ajamu is a reasonable choice.  Some of you have put down activists, but as I recall, the last time a major party nominated a "community activist" that same community activist was re-elected and served two terms.  Ajamu is already known to many of us as an intellectual and an effective public speaker and writer.  He has written extensively about US foreign and domestic policy.  I first saw his name a few years ago in a piece he wrote for the NY Times about Syria and I think he's probably as well informed as Clinton or Johnson, and much better informed than Stein or Trump.

I don't know whether he'll swing any voters.  Jill Stein is still at the head of that ticket and she's as shrill and narrowly focused as ever, but if vice presidential candidates matter, then he's not a bad pick.

Apparently not even Jill Stein wants to be associated with Nina Turner.
