I wonder how badly those two begged Trump to come out and say he doesn't support them.

So pretty much if you're not for abolishing nearly the entire government = trump won't support you. Insanity.

I don't expect many moderates or centralize to support trump in Nov. This guys going to lose big.

Obama has Yoda-level political instincts in presidential years. He's basically going out there with a bullhorn saying that Trump is unfit and untrustworthy, and Trump dumps Ryan, McCain and Ayotte overboard while they still support him

I really hope they withdraw their endorsements. Trump doesn't deserve them.

And remember .... the trump supporters here were giving "RINO's" on Atlas crap about how the other Rep candidates (Jeb, Kasich, etc) would not support trump.
Part of their entire argument was if they are Republicans, they need to support the Republican candidate ... period.
But yet it's OK for "the Republican candidate" not to support other Republicans in their local/state elections this November.
LMAO !

Predictable behavior from Trump.  His M.O. is to lash out at opponents, when he feels cornered.  He feels very cocooned now, and knows that the GOP leaders have not supported him.

He thinks that by sending "signals" to these people (tweeting thanks to Ryan's primary opponent, attacking Sen Ayotte, who is in a tight race in NH, attacking Sen. McCain, whom Trump knows will never be behind him), he can influence their behavior.  The message is simple - support me or I will bring you down.  He does not realize that doing this political barter in a public political arena is quite different from doing business bartering in the backrooms of NYC developments.

The sad part is obviously that, by using these tactics, he has managed to be successful in his business so far.

So when do we think elected Republicans will start abandoning Trump in mass?

Probably not until October.

What's the main obstacle preventing you from becoming the 100th D-PA avatar on Atlas?? Wink

If Hillary is still leading by 10 points in September that is when the rats will jump ship.

Because Trump is stupid.

I get crapping on McCain, but Ryan has actually been supportive of him.

Hillary just needs to put this guy out of his misery already.  The DNC has made him completely unhinged.

Why is Trump doing this? I don't understand. Is he suicidal?

No, he wants out and is sending signals to the GOP.  They are just not getting it.

I'm sure they'll be sorely missing your absentee ballot from Florida.

Because the Rethuglican leadership needs to be purged. He will sacrifice everything to destroy them for their disobedience and disregard for the rule of law.

I imagine this makes perfect sense for him.  After all, Ryan withheld from endorsing Trump.  In Trump's mind it must make sense that it can go the other way.

Good. Trump should burn the GOP establishment to the ground whether he wins or loses.
