Today is the deadline to submit 5.000 signatures for the VA ballot.

The VA Green Party submitted more than 11.000 signatures, of which ~70% will be found valid (based on recent signature checks in other states).

Also, ID has officially announced that Stein is on the ballot.

Do you know if McMullin submitted anything?

He's on the ballot.

The libertarians don't list themselves as on the ballot in Connecticut or New Hampshire. I think they're just waiting for official notification, but still.

This is the official libertarian ballot access map:

Connecticut is confirmed by the SoS, not sure why they don't list it. You're right for New Hampshire, it has not been confirmed yet, but they turned in over 6000 signatures and only need 3000 valid ones.

Excellent news from Virginia! Another state for Jill Stein to be embarrassingly thrashed in!

The other day I was in the grocery store parking lot and there was an old lady sitting in a van with the door open near my parking spot. She looked really confused and was mumbling to herself. I didn't know beforehand that Jill Stein was having a campaign event in the Bay Area!

Johnson/Weld are now on the ballot in 47 states + DC.

Only KY, CT and RI are still missing.

...

Stein/Baraka are now on the ballot in 40 states + DC.

4 states are still missing (WY, ND, RI and KY).

6 states will be Stein-less (NC, GA, OK, NV, IN, SD).

3.300 signatures were required for the WY ballot.

The Jill Stein campaign handed in 12.000 signatures, which is more than in GA.

That means it's 99.9% certain she'll be on the WY ballot as the Green candidate, the first time in the state party's 20-year history.

If those who signed a petition in WY would also turn out and vote for Stein in November, she'd get about 4.5-5% of the vote (out of 250.000 ballots cast).

Sometimes people sign the petition just because they believe in democracy or because the petitioner was friendly and they wanted to help them out.  Could still be a good showing for greens there though.

Exactly this.  I collected signatures to get Anderson on the Florida ballot in 1980, and many of the signers said they thought he should be on the ballot, but they were unlikely to vote for him.

I believe she's an official write-in candidate in GA, IN and NC though. There won't be any way to vote for her in SD. I'm not sure about NV and OK.

They must have added her now. I checked their site just a few minutes ago and she has write-in access.

Yep, they must still have been checking the signatures when I looked earlier.

Is 44 states the best coverage for a Green candidate so far or did Nader do better in 2000 ?

Based on population, 89% of Americans have a chance to vote for Jill Stein (98% with write-in access states).

Assuming she gets on in all the states still out, she'll edge out Nader in 2000.  He was on the ballot in 43+DC and had official write-in status in 4 others, according to Wikipedia.

Excellent! Gary Johnson, you can do it! Campaign HARD for GOP leaning voters in Missouri, Georgia, North Carolina, and perhaps South Carolina Also.

Do not forget ARIZONA! You can win a lot of [gop leaning] independents there. It is very important that you make a statement in those states.. and flip them to Hillary Clinton!

Extremely impressive for both. Hopefully they get included in the exit polls.
