Militants Threat To Execute An Atlasian Couple

31 Atlasians Returns From Paflagonia

31 out of 33 Atlasian citizens, who were trapped in Paflagonia following the military takeover, are now safely back home. A special Atlasian Air Force plane with them abroad landed at the Dover Base just minutes ago.

Conservagreen Brigades Carries Out Their Threat

It has been confirmed that Mike Retroman, one of two Atlasians held hostages by a so-called Conservagreen Brigades in Paflagonia, had been executed, as 24-hours time of the ultimatum passed.

Unoficially, we've learned Atlasian officials are blaming Paflagonian reluctance to join efforts in locating the militants, while sources close to the governing junta stated Atlasian diplomatic message "came too late."

A total number of deaths in Paflagonia had been estimated at 48, including 47 citizens.

Atlasian Citizen Saved

Mr. Ace Spear, an Atlasian citizen abducted a couple of days ago by the Paflagonian Conservagreen Brigades, had been rescued by the Paflagonian army. Unfortunately it was too late for his companion, Mike Retroman, who was executed by the terrorists yesterday.

It appears Paflagonians took Atlasian appeal seriously and acted accordingly, a source within Department of State told us.

Other source disagrees. They probably knew the location of abducted Atlasians all along and just choose to let them die to legitimize their own position. It took a strongly worded message from the Secretary of State to force the regime, reluctantly, to act.

Two members of the Conservagreen Brigades involved in the kidnapping are now in custody. It is unclear whether Atlasia will seek their extradition.

Despite some worries that all the complications linked to the reset may cause an economic backlash, the economy seems to be doing well. The first post-reset unemployment update indicated low figures, with the following one noting slight drop as well.

Turkey Executes 2; First Time Since 1984

Two Turkish soldiers, who were sentenced to death by a special military tribunal for their participation in a recent failed coup attempt, were shot early today in Ankara, shortly after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ratified their sentences.

This is the first time a death sentence was carried out in Turkey since 1984, when the country was under military dictatorship of General Kenan Evern. Death penalty was just recently ex post facto reinstated for "crimes against the state".
