He only supports "itty bitty tax cuts." The Republicans wouldn't bite.

He cries on the Senate floor over the possiblity of John Bolton's confirmation as Ambassador to the UN.   Gimme a break!   Nutless wonder.

Why would they pick someone from a state that people are moving out of?  That's the kind of stuff my party does!

The idea occurred to me a few weeks back, and I think I posted a random map to that effect.

But there's no way that's happening...it's not like we just lost Ohio and feel a desperate need to pick an Ohioan as our nominee.

Especially an Ohioan as worthless as Voinovich.

I doubt I'd support him for President, but you guys really give Voinovich a hard time.  I'm still waiting for somebody to give me a few reasons why he's a bad senator for Ohio.

Anyway, am I the only one who sees the irony in Walter Mitty poking fun at a politician, while he has pictures of Jane Swift and Bob Taft, and a Du Pont for President logo in his signature?  That's just asking for trouble.

Voinovich's Best Outcome:

DEM - 194
Voinovich - 344

This is the best that could happen if he ran unless he had a good running mate or something along those lines.

Presumably, Voinovich could defeat Al Sharpton, but beyond that he wouldn't fare well. Complete fruitcake.

I take it that all the Republicans who criticize Voinovich here are those that put 'toeing the party line' above actually serving the people that put him in office?

His campaign motto could be:

Make Ohios' disgrace the nations' disgrace.
