President Bush said I wish I could wave a magic wand and lower gas prices.

And then he said I wish I could wave a magic wand and bring the troops home.

And he said I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix health care.

And I was thinking this guy waves his wand more than Clinton.

So? I wish I could lower gas prices too. Would you rather him say "I will lower gas prices" if he's not able to do so?

Bush is PRESIDENT.

Yet he has admitted to the following

he cant stop violence in iraq.
he cant stop healthcare costs
he cant stop jobs moving abroad
he cant stop gas prices going up.
he cant stop terrorists pouring into iraq.
he cant stop this
he cant stop that.

YOU ELECTED HIM. SO YOU DEFEND HIM.

No I didn't - I voted Libertarian(and no, a vote for Kerry wouldn't have changed a damn thing, considering where I live). You make a stupid complaint about him saying "I wish I could do X" when he isn't able to do X - there's nothing wrong with that. It is far worse to say you can and will do something when you can't, which on this issue he has not done.

We have never had a real debate about immigration.
We have never had a real debate about 9/11.
We have never had a real debate about darwinism
We have never had a real debate about Stem-Cell Researc
We have never had a real debate about NCLB.

My reply was not targeting you. My reply was targeting moron republicans like AFC Emperor (not surprised by his name) who probably endorses Republican trash that claims Hillary was raped.

Miss Catholic what would you like Bush to do about gas prices? Would you like price controls? Last time that was tried it created gasoline shortages. People had to wait in long lines to buy gas. What do you think the president should do? Bear in mind that he is a president, not a dictator. He has limited power.

he cant stop violence in iraq.  -  Obviously, only the troops over there can
he cant stop healthcare costs  -  No one can, they can only transfer them to others
he cant stop jobs moving abroad  -  Congress can with his approval, they haven't
he cant stop gas prices going up.  -  He can't, you can't, only China and India can. That would require them stopping the purchase of fuel.
he cant stop terrorists pouring into iraq.  -  Not without invading Syria. Do you support that?

Good God, I can only imagine how terrible everything would be if you actually got to do what you probably want to do!

And please, stop trolling the boards, it gets annoying.

Yet he has admitted to the following

I don't think 'admitted' is the right word, because:

He caused the violence in the first place.

His ideology requires these things occur.

He caused those things as well.
