Hmm, hard to remember what game exatly came first, but it was probably a Putt-Putt game. If not that, then it was Chips Challenge.

Age of Empires, particularly Conquerors.  I was never much of a gamer, but that one for some reason I really liked when I was young. I still play it once or twice a year, at least.

Elmo's Letter Challenge / Elmo's Number Journey
Super Mario 64
Mario Party / Mario Party 2
Super Smash Bros.
Banjo Kazooie / Banjo Tooie (For the longest time, I thought Tooie came first Tongue)
I also vaguely remember playing Duke Nukem: Zero Hour.

This is a close runner-up for me:

The first strategy game was of course Civilization II

The first strategy game was of course Civilization II

I remember CIV2 too!  I played it in Library class on the computer hidden behind the bookshelf all through fourth grade.  I got good enough that I could sometimes beat it on the hardest setting if I started off in exactly the right spot.  Game gets annoying at the end with all the sh**t you have to move every turn though.

One of my friends like Jazz Jackrabbit but I never liked the platformers, I was all about that strategy.

Age of Empires, particularly Conquerors.  I was never much of a gamer, but that one for some reason I really liked when I was young. I still play it once or twice a year, at least.

I still play AOE2 on Steam every now and then, shoot me a message if you want to duel!

Playing the original Age of Empires on a public library computer when I was six. I had no idea what I was doing and would just build farms for days.

Tonka Construction. We didn't have a computer at my house until 2006, but my Grandma had one (which she couldn't use but still had for some reason) so I used to play it there.

I remember Age of Empires III. I was so, so, so excited when that came out. I was in the fourth grade. I played that game for years.

The campaign for AoE III is bomb.

Earliest console game I remember was the Bowling game on the RCA Studio II. If you mean a game played on an actual general purpose computer, Hunt the Wumpus on a TRS-80 Color Computer. (I had an original CoCo with a full 32K RAM, initially using a cassette tape for storage, but later getting the floppy disk drive..)

OMG, Golden Axe was one of my favorite games as a kid! I played it on the Genesis, not my computer though. I actually forgot about it until now.

I don't remember my first computer game. Probably some Spongebob flash game or something.
