"Putt Putt Enters the Race"
"Pajama Sam" (the darkness one or whatever)
"Backyard Football"

First 'serious' game? Medieval Total War circa 2001.

Played some Pac-Man-like game on my reception class's (so I would have been 4 or 5) computer.

First console game was Actua Soccer 2 for the Playstation 1.

First Xbox game was Halo: Combat Evolved (it came with the console IIRC).

First handheld console game was Pokemon Crystal Version for the Gameboy Color.

OMG, Golden Axe was one of my favorite games as a kid! I played it on the Genesis, not my computer though. I actually forgot about it until now.

I particularly hated those huge assholes with their big hammers.

But I really loved when those skeletal morons were simply falling off the cliff.

Which character did you usually play as? I usually chose the lady in red. That dragon magic tho.

Putt-Putt, JumpStart, and a game with a name not remembered in which you're a bug exploring the (South) American, African, and Asian rainforests.

No, that's before my time. All my games were for Win95 on CD-ROM. No floppies or DOS.

IIRC the dwarf, mostly because it was fun to strike enemies with your horns. My friend usually took the lady when we played together.

Well, I'm an oldie but a goodie.  The first computer game I played was probably "The Oregon Trail".

My very first was Speed Busters-American Highways; a car race through several US states with fictional cars. Still love it. I played it till a few years ago. Unfortunately, my current notebook (three years old) is too new for this game that was developed in 2000.

This.  I recall playing so many JumpStart games as a little tyke and learning most of elementary school math from it.

I had to write my own games, due to the lack of much software online in the early '70s. Tongue
