The first one I remember being a fan of was Tom and Jerry.  The Chuck Jones shorts were my favorite, with the Hanna Barbera shorts close behind, and the Gene Deitch shorts being a good time to go to the bathroom, get a snack, and.or check what was on another channel.

The earliest TV cartoons I remember include Tom Terrific (on Captain Kangaroo), Felix the Cat, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and the Flintstones.

I'm surprised that I can remember Hong Kong Phooey, because I would have thought that I was a couple years too young.

And of course I remember Looney Tunes, especially the Coyote and the Roadrunner.

Possibly the looney tunes or other "classics".

The first I have distinct memories of is The Centurions. I must have been 5 or 6, and although I was already living in France we still got Italian TV. I remember it because for a kid it looked absolutely awesome. I have no idea if it holds up, though. I'd be curious to find out.

Faint memories of Blue's Clues and Dora, mostly the former. After that I remember mom watching the premiere of Spongbob with me.
