Would be interested to see the results to this.  When I was in high school, I'd read the paper every morning as my parents had a subscription to two papers (a local one and the Chicago tribune), though in college I don't read any news or watch TV.

Given the demographics here, I'd expect the "No" to predominate, but it would be interesting to see what the results are.

I read the Seattle Times daily when I'm at home over the summer. I don't bother reading a print paper during the rest of the year - Bellingham doesn't have an excellent newspaper and I'm pretty sure the Seattle Times isn't delivered in Whatcom County.

I read the UT-Austin student paper every morning, mostly because it has the crossword and I can get it for free at my bus stop. It's weird knowing that everyone involved in the paper is younger than me, but I guess I should just get increasingly used to that....

At any rate, it's a mediocre paper. It gets the most important news on/around campus right, so it does its job, I guess. The fluff stuff is rarely worth the paper it's printed on.

San Francisco Chronicle.

I read it more for the local stuff, since most of the nationwide coverage don't even have staff-writers anyway [literally can get most of that by AP blurbs or NYT online].

It's good for outdoorsy things and traveling, and food [recipes and good restaurants]

But the main reason I keep going, so I can read the comics, that's the rational reason at this point. A day without breakfast and Pearls Before Swine just feels wrong.

I have a look at NYT headlines on most days and read a couple articles per week, on my Android app. Don't know if that counts.

Yes, the "Standard" (left/liberal) and the "Economist".

Yes, my employer subscribed the Los Angeles Times. I frequently read it at work in the office.

Yeah--I read the Post every day. I also read the New York Times, Politico, and some others online.

My sister has a subscription to the local paper, and we go out for breakfast twice a week when I check in on her, I'll read it. But while I do enjoy reading it, I don't enjoy it enough to pay for it.

I actually miss the Sunday Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, but alas, I no longer read a real printed newspaper......
