Todd Young on Musk kidnapped by Russians

My thoughts and prayer are with Elon Musk, his family and his friends. It's great to hear that now he's ok and I look forward to see him back to the campaign trail. Musk being kidnapped by what looks like is a an helicopter of the Russian Government is a serious fact that needs serious investigation.

Joni Ernst Interview on Local Texan News Outlet

ANDERSON: Hello Everyone, I'm Amy Anderson.  And Today I have Nationalist MP and Candidate for Prime Minister, Joni Ernst. Good Morning Mrs. Ernst.

ERNST: First off, thank you guys so much for having me. I have been so blessed to meet such great media outlets on this campaign and really get to speak to the media through you all.

ANDERSON: Well, thank you, we try our best. I wanted to congratulate on your major victory in Nevada this week.

ERNST: Thanks so much, but I have to say the credit goes all to the great volunteer force we had there and have all over this great country. They are the ones that represent this campaign and the ones I am fighting for and will continue to do so as Prime Minister.

ANDERSON: Well, from what we've seen here you're putting a lot of effort and volunteers here in Texas. Do you have plans to take the state?

ERNST: Well, we are running a 50-state campaign, but Texas has been a major priority to our campaign, and we are hoping to take it on Tuesday.

ANDERSON: You have been putting a lot of emphasis on Immigration and ending illegal immigration, can you elaborate on your position?

ERNST: Of course, thank you for the question. Well, I believe that mass illegal immigration is one of the biggest threats we have seen come to our nation. As President, my plan is to expand programs like E-Verify and crack down on a number of illegal immigrants stealing jobs from hardworking Americans. We will also rebuild our border security to end the current mass flow of illegal immigrants on our borders and allow Americans to take the jobs they deserve.

ANDERSON: Well this has been very enlightening, we thank you for coming on.

ERNST: Any time, thanks for having me.

Turn 7 - March 2 to March 15, 2016

Hi guys! Grin

First of all, sorry for taking so long to process the Turn 6 results - I started school again on Monday and have been really, really busy ever since. I'm not quite done with the county maps yet but will try to get them up as soon as possible, hopefully by this weekend. I'm very excited to start this turn!

Just like last time, please only make a schedule for the second week included in the turn (the week that directly precedes the primaries). And as always, remember that the objective best strategy in this game is to focus on the later primaries in order to maximize your delegate allocation - even with the Super Tuesday results included, less than 3/10 of all delegates have so far been awarded, meaning that a long-term strategy focusing on primaries that occur later in the season is definitely the best way to go. Deficits of even fifty or sixty delegates can be easily made up by a good performance in one decent-sized state (Texas had a lot of influence, but states like California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania will count just as much).

Concession speech

Dear America,

It's been one hell of a run. Sadly, the Schweitzer team sees no path ahead for the campaign. We will be committed to improving the condition of middle-class Americans off the trail, as we have been on the trail. But, sadly, this is not our year. Thanks to all our supporters and voters, make sure to vote for your liberal MP! Good night, America!

Thank you, thank you.

[applause]

I want to thank for your warm and motivating applause, I want to thank all my volunteers and surrogates, who campaigned hard in nearly every corner of the country, I want to thank all the people who voted today and participated in our political and democratic process, I want to thank the Progressive Party for its overwhelming energy and its solutions for the real problems in this country, and, last but not least, I want to thank my fellow contenders in the progressive leadership elections, Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, Sherrod Brown and Suzan DelBene, for running fair and issue-based campaigns and for inspiring millions of people in this country.

[cheering]

Let's look at what we achieved. We have won Georgia by double digits, we have won Texas by a decent margin, we have won every county in Massachusetts, and Virginia and North Dakota are basically a tie. Friends, I think I am not judging from an ivory tower if I tell you:

We have won Super Tuesday.

[cheering]

Our lead in the national polls has expanded, and we are currently ahead by more than one hundred delegates.

[cheering]

And I'm sure that our lead will expand and we are going to win the progressive leadership contest.

[crowd chanting]

You know, there are people campaigning across the country and telling everyone that we need to make America great again. When people say that our country isn't great, then I'm usually with them. The people who live and work in and for this country are great. Their spirit is. Their values are. But this country isn't. This country has problems. Poverty, racism, sexism, homophobia, corruption. But these problems won't disappear until we offer real solutions, and I am the person to do so.

[cheering]

Schedule March 9th - March 15th

March 9th

- discuss campaign strategy
- rally in Philadelphia, PA
- campaign event in Williamsport, PA
- rally in Syracuse, NY
- rally in New York City, NY

Real change doesn't get prescribed by the political elites. We can say that we fight racism, we can punish those who still dare to commit this horrible crime against humanity and morality. We can. We must. But real change doesn't just have to take place in Washington, DC or in the lobbies of our huge companies and businesses. We have to practice change in our living rooms, in our heads, in our hearts. The structural racism in our judicial system is incompatible with the virtues of freedom and equality our country claims to stand for. Here in New York, a state which has a city that is a symbol for the American dream and for the possibility to make full use of one's opportunities like no other city on earth, 83% of the criminals receiving life sentences are non-whites. 83%. You don't need to be a progressive to realize that this number is totally out of relation.
He have to act. We have to act in our schools, we have to act in our economy, we have to act in our little towns and villages. We, as members of the political process, can only achieve changes at the legislative levels. We are reliant on the people in this country, on the teachers, on the builders, on the cleaners, on the workers, on the housewifes and househusbands, who are watchful and sincere members in our society. We need these people to achieve a real change. We need these people to make clear that racism is an absolute taboo. There can be no tolerance of the intolerant.

March 10th:
- rally in New York City, NY
- campaign event in Yonkers, NY
- discuss campaign strategy during flight to Lansing, MI
- rally in Lansing, MI
- campaign event in Flint, MI
- rally in Warren, MI
- meet and greet in Troy, MI
- rally in Detroit, MI

The people here have been abandoned. It is hard to hear. It hurts me feelings. And I wish I didn't have to tell you. But it's true. People who make the decisions for you prefer having a big wallet rather than having a big hearth. Everything that doesn't turn out to be profitable should not be an issue in today's politics. What has Premier Snyder promised you? Which messages were on his posters and in his speeches when he came here and talked to you? And what did he achieve? Only election gifts. That doesn't help. That doesn't make anything better.
You know, every election cycle, there are those politicians who are secretly funded by big companies who find their solutions in outsourcing, and those people come here and tell you that we need to support manufacturing and home-made products. That systematical hypocrisy makes me angry. Do they think the people in this city are completely idiot? Do they think that the people in Detroit simply don't realize that they are being cheated by our representatives and our government? Do they think it's completely fine that a family father can not pay the medical bills for his sick child because he lost his job? Do they think it's completely fine that thousands of children in this city alone have to grow up in poverty? Do they think it's completely fine that they have taken all the possibilities and chances from thousands of children in this city because the schools can no longer pay for appropriate education. We are not talking about dollars. We are talking about people!

March 11th:
- rally in Dearborn, MI
- rally in Chicago, IL
- meet and greet in Joliet, IL
- campaign event in Kanakee, IL
- fundraiser-BBQ in Peoria, IL
- discuss campaign strategy with senior staffers during flight to Louisiana
- rally in New Orleans, LA

You know, as a member of the house and at the same time a competitor for progressive leadership, a parliament speech and a campaign speech can easily be mixed up, I freely admit. But what I won't mix up is our political process with a talk show, like other people who are running for leadership in other parties. I don't know any other party that has given so many roaring speeches about a market ideology than than the Independent Party. That's why they don't have by today no relationship to the financial crisis eight years ago. I am not even sure if that party has offered any appreciable proposals about reconditioning of this financial crisis or about supporting the thousands of families who had to suffer by the mess our banks have done. They want to distract us from realizing that their threat on regulatory questions is broken. They represent the ideology which has lead into this great financial crisis. This is madness. The only party that has offered useful and realistic proposals is the Progressive Party!

March 12th:
- rally in Baton Rouge, LA
- rally in Shreveport, LA
- live facebook Q&A
- rally in Los Angeles, CA with Susan Surrandon and Mark Ruffalo
- meet and greet in Long Beach, CA
- campaign event in Santa Ana, CA
- interview with CNN

The United States has ever been a country of great diversity, whether we talk about the rural communities and the cities or whether we talk about the huge ethnic diversity in this country. Our founding fathers have proven that immigration, whether it's because you have to fear a war in your country or whether it's because of economical reasons, can lead to something great. And so did the thousands of European immigrants from Germany, France, Ireland, Great Britain, who came here at the begin of the 20th century and helped this nation to get it to new prosperity. I know rural communities. Believe me, I grew up in Oklahoma. And I know that everything that you don't know can be a little strange to you. It is not wrong to be afraid to new things. But it is wrong to tread other people worse without having ever talked a single word to them. I know the stories told in the rural neighborhoods. I want to call on the people of this beautiful state: Please do not believe anything that people have told you who don't know it better than you.

March 13th:
- rally in San Bernadino, CA
- rally in San Diego, CA
- discuss campaign strategy with national headquarter during flight to Florida
- meet and greet in Orlando, FL
- campaign event in Lakeland, FL
- rally in Tampa, FL

This is an official post by the Warren campaign on twitter and Facebook.

March 14th:
- rally in Clearwater, FL
- campaign event in St Petersburg, FL
- rally in Cape Coral, FL
- meet and greet in Bonita Springs, FL
- rally in Miami, FL
- rally in Miami Beach, FL

'States do not differ from great robber bands if they don't provide justice.' This might be a slogan we progressives could have campaigned with, but the truth is, that this sentence was said in the 5th century and was noted by Augustinus. The hunger for justice carries the story of mankind as much as the need for improved living conditions and material security. Huge empires, armed to the teeth, have been unhinged due to the fact that the sense of justice of the people has been trampled underfoot. The great revolutions of the modern era have been revolutions calling for justice. Up to our time, which has brought an end to the apartheid in South Africa, the solidarnosc in Poland, the fall of the Berlin wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union. And also the protests against the regime of Mubarak in Egypt and in other north-African countries have been a result of the uprising of a young generation, which has neither seen justice nor hope in their countries. So please, if you still doubt whether you can change something or not, if you still think that our fight is useless, if you still think that this system is unchangeable, this is your answer.

March 15th:
- rally in Hollywood, FL
- rally in Fort Lauderdale, FL
- rally in Coral Springs, FL
- campaign event in West Palm Beach
- door-to-door campaign in Jupiter and Port St Lucie, FL
- flight to Milwaukee, WI
- wait for results

TV-ad

Hi, I'm Susan Sarandon, and I'm gonna tell you now something.

We have to decide where our country should go from here.

We have to decide whether or not we want to reduce the financial burden of our middle class families to prevent our children from poverty.

We have to decide whether or not we want to run an energy revolution from fossil fuels to clean energy, helping our environment and giving our children a clean and healthy planet earth.

We have to decide whether or not we want education free for everyone who deserves it and not for the people whose parents have got the biggest paychecks, providing that America has the best students, not the wealthiest.

We have to decide whether or not we want our gay and transgender children to hide no longer their identity because they fear the hatred and discrimination our political right is pushing for.

We have to decide whether or not we want our hard working people to be paid decent wages.

We have to decide whether or not we want our young girls to be encouraged to be whatever the want to be and to take their chances.

These are the question we have to ask ourselves. The best choice for me is Elizabeth Warren.

Susan Sarandon is in. Are you? Let's start a political revolution and change this country. I'm Elizabeth Warren and I approve this message.

To be aired in the following states:

Todd Young (7.1) - Campaign Schedule

Excerpt from Super Tuesday victory speech in Miami, FL:
"My friends, what a great tuesday! What a great Super Tuesday!
Tonight, we won 8 states out of 12 called to vote. We increased our lead in the delegate count, we have won 11 states out of 16 since February and we are finally leading in national polls!
But this is just the start. There are 34 states and DC to go and we'll compete for every vote, for every delegate and I'm sure we'll win the Conservative leadership and then the general election!

I'd like to thank all the people who decided to vote for me and all the people who participated in our Conservative primaries and caucuses all across this beautiful nation. That's how democracy works, that's how the United States of America work and we are proud to be Americans.

Conservatives all across this nation made clear that they want to change our party. I can guarantee you that this change will finally happen. There will not be other coalition governments with left-wing parties. We are going to campaign hard in every state in order to get the most possible seats and a majority.

We'll finally govern as Conservatives again. We'll cut taxes, we'll cut useless big government spending, we'll balance budgets, we'll protect the right to life, we'll increase our education system, we'll increase our national security and defense, we'll push for an healtcare reform that favorize the citizens, not the government. We'll push for less government in the life of Americans and more about the lifes of Americans in the government."

All my endorsers will be campaigning in Michigan and Illinois, and Elizabeth Shuler's speeches will be about fair trade(particularly in Detroit), the minimum wage(particularly in Chicago), and labor rights.
