New surrogates hit the campaign trail!
Richard Trumka
President of the AFL-CIO

“I whole-heartly support Bernie's endorsement and I'll whole-heartly support Elizabeth Warren. Se is the right person to lead this country and to help the American workers who have been humbled by our political leaders.”

Peter Shumlin
Premier of Vermont

“It is time to realize that a progressive government is possible and necessary in our country. If we want a progressive governement in the next years, we have to nominate Elizabeth Warren as leader of the progressive party. No other candidate can bring progressive issues and long-sighted policies together.”

Rick Nolan
Member of Parliament

“I have supported many leadership candidates in the last years. But I have never been as confident with my choice as I am today. Bernie Sanders has really been a great leader, and I am sure that Elizabeth Warren will not just uphild his legacy, but will take his idea further into the next government.”
Bill Maher
Television Host

“People are sick and tired of the current status quo, and they are actually right. Our current government hasn't spend a minute on the important issues in our country like poverty, income inequallity and sexism, instead, they are making mountains out of molehills. I trust Elizabeth Warren to finally bring a change to our political process.”

Excerpt from Elizabeth Warren's speech in parliament about the Panama Papers,
April 17th

Speaker Paul Ryan

I shall now give the floor to the honorable member Elizabeth Warren, deputy leader of the Progressive Party.

Elizabeth Warren

Mr. Speaker, honorable members of the parliament,

I think it is a pity that this very important topic gets overshadowed by leadership campaigns and that this debate is overshadowed by campaign speeches. At least I noticesd  that the cabinett is very satisfied with itself, but we'll see if that will be enough in November, and I noticed that there was redistribution of argumants from the Progressive Party to the Liberal Party, but better late than never
.

(applause by the Progressive Party)

I have to admitt that we have heard some impressive speeches today, and I am amazed which hyperactivity has been developed by the federal government. Do the honorable members of the coalition really plan to make the public believe that they have not realized until the panama papers were published that letter-box companies do not serve the purpose of mail reception, but that they are used for tax fraud, for money laundering and for other criminal activities – used, not abused, they have been invented for that purpose, and the government should have done anything against it, but it hasn't, and I am really afraid it won't.

(applause by the Progressive Party and some members of the Jacksonian Party)

The A-list of the American moneyed aristocraty are roaming around in dubious foreign tax havens, the media has published it multiple times, and the honorable members deny that they have known something about this incident? This is a completely implausible style of politics, and it is a massive fraud on the taxpayers in this country.
(applause by the Progressive Party)

It wasn't a long time ago – it was January 2016 – when Oxfam has make the public aware of the fact that hyper-rich persons are hiding 7.6 trillion dollars in tax havens, and that nine out of ten mega-corporations have at least one subsidiary company in tax havens. But the government has neither heard anything nor done anything.

(heckling from MP O'Rourke, Texas: “This is outrageous!”)

I think that this is a derision of the intelligence of those the honorable members do not want to question the truth.

(applause by the Progressive Party and the Jacksonian Party)

What we need now is a complete clarification of this incident.

( members of the Progressive Party: “Yes!”)

We need to know to what extent American companies, to what extent American individuals and to what extent the American governement has been involved in that case. I highly doubt the statement from the honorable conservative and liberal members that the panama papers came as a suprise and that its content could not have been foreseen. It is a recognized wisdom among economists that companies have been hiding in tax exiles in Central America and Europe for years. Now, it is time to end the ruthless betrayal to the American people and it is time to force the companies to pay taxes where they make profit.

(applause by the Progressive Party and the Jacksonian Party)

Therefore, my party proposes the establishment of an invastigative committee which deals with the whole case. Transparency and information must be the top priority when we deal with this incident. [...]

Elizabeth Warren's speech about the future of the progressive nomination process

First of all, my dear friends, I want to thank all off my supporters and I want to thank every single person who went out today and participated in our democratic nomination process.

We, as the Warren campaign, can be proud of the fact that we are still more than hundred delegates in the lead. –

(cheering)

But we, as the Progressive Party, can be proud of our nomination process, which has proven once again, that we are the most democratic party in the United States of America. While the primaries in every other party have been made a popularity contest between just two candidates, our party has energized the political machine in our country and has inspired millions of Americans, not just because we still have four candidates in our race, but because we as contestants have always treated each other with respect and with civility, and we have set the focus of all our campaigns on the issues and not on the individuals, and that is something we can be proud of.

(cheering)

The nomination process is going to be done in a few weeks. There are still eleven states to give their votes, some states will have a huge effect on the convention and some states won't, but our political pundits seem to already have made up their opinion on who is going to win the nomination, although it seems that either me or one of my competitors is going to reach the numbers of delegates needed to clinch the nomination. As the leader of my own election campaign, I obviously hope to be the nominee the delegates are able to agree on. But as the deputy leader of our party, I can predict you that our opinion-forming process within the progressive party won't find an end this summer, neither will it end in four years or in twenty years. No, the Progressive Party has realized, that our party has to change constantly, just as our society does. The answers to the great question of our time can not be the answers we invented a decade ago. That's what differentiates from other parties. We are not promising to set the clock back like the Jacksonians, the Conservatives and the Nationalists. Nor are we stuck in the Here and Now, like the Liberals and the Independents. We are working on the great questions of the future. How do we want to work and live? How do we provide a healthy planet for our children? And how do we make work still worthwhile? These are the question we have to deal with, and these are the questions we are currently dealing with, and that's why am proud to be a progressive.

(cheering)

And now, lets continue our fight for a fair and stable society. Let's conquer the future and start our political revolution. Thank you.

"In the past months, I have met a lot of people, I have given a lot of speeches, and I have supported the local candidates a lot. And one of the best things in my job is that I get in touch with many people every day. I find it very fascinating when common people share their experiences with me, their perspectives, and their political views. And what I get to hear very often is 'Well, I like your arguments and I like what you said, but where have you been two weeks ago, where have you been two months ago, and where have you been two years ago?' This is exactly what I why I run for leadership of the progressive party. I want our party to be a reliable political force. Not just like the other parties who just appear when there is an election nearby. I want the people to tell themselves, that, if there is just no one there to care for them, they still can count on the support of the Progressive Party. That's my vision I am fighting for."

May 6th:
- campaign event in Huntington, WV
- discuss campaign strategy with senior staffers during flight to California

- campaign through Los Angeles, CA
- meet and greet in Long Beach, CA

May 7th:

- interview at CNN
- rally in San Bernardino, CA
- campaign event in Bakersfield, CA

"The fact that I celebrate the fact that Sadiq Khan is now elected mayor of London doesn't mean that I want every city in our country to be governed by a non-white and non-male Muslim. But this victory shows us one important thing. It shows us that Islam is not as far away as many people still think. But that's certainly not a bad thing. Because his victory also shows us that Islam is not that strange, disconcerting culture which is rigorous in its ideology. The secular Islam, as it is practiced by the overwhelming majority of American and European Muslims, is not a religion of misogyny and intolerance, but, as former Prime Minister George W. Bush said, a religion of peace, an open-minded religion which does not just respect our free and democratic values, but which has understood that these are in fact a part of it. And the fact that there are still some intolerant and fanatical Muslims in America doesn't mean that we don't have any Christians who might think the same way. But that is what religious freedom is about. We can defend our values. But if we accept Christians who deny them, we also have to accept Muslims who do the same."

May 8th:
- rally in Modesto, CA
- fundraiser BBQ in Stockton, CA
- rally in Concord, CA
- rally in Berkeley, CA
- appearance at Meet the Press

May 9th:
- rally in San Francisco, CA
- rally in Daly City, CA
- rally in San Jose, CA
- campaign event in Sunnyvale, CA

"The Conservatives has taken great pains for twenty years to explain the people why regional collective agreements for workers have to be wiped out, why it is better to have internal agreements, and those people who seem to take over the control of the Conservative party have been the greatest protagonists during the fight against a common sense minimum wage. But the problem is, that their standpoint is totally failing short of reality. Do they really believe that the nurse, the builder, the janitor can live without the amount of money the government provides him and what our country sees as the minimum subsistence level? Do you really believe it?"

May 10th:
- rally in Jersey City, NJ
- campaign event in Newark, NJ
- rally in Elizabeth, NJ
- campaign event in New Brunswick, NJ
- discuss campaign strategy with senior staffers during flight to Washington, DC
- rally in Washington, DC
- wait for election results

New surrogates hit the campaign trail!

Mark Dayton
Premier of Minnesota

“What Elizabeth Warren has done great. She has brought together the people with great ideas but with a lack of courage to realize them together and has built her campaign on the. She has built up the Progressive Party with our leader Bernie Sanders, and I am convinced that she is the right person to uphold his legacy and to lead the next government just I do in Minnesota.”

Tom Udall
Member of Parliament from New Mexico

“I proudly endorse the candidate who does not just care about very few, but about the society as a whole. Whites, Afro-Americans, Hispanics, old people, young people, men and women – Elizabeth Warren is the only candidate who does not want to just address a small clientel.”

Jared Huffman
Member of Parliament from California

“Elizabeth Warren has a feel for the problems and the daily struggle of our families and our working people. Put her into the next government – and she'll clean up all the mess the coalition has caused so far.”

NATIONALIST PARTY LEADER JIM JORDAN ENDORSES CRUZ

"I came to this conclusion many weeks ago, but today as this race goes down to the wire, I have decided to publicly declare who we need to elect as Nationalist Party Leader. That man is Ted Cruz. Ted is a principled man whose word is his bond, he has fought for our values, fought for freedom, security and liberty. Deputy Leader Cruz, has fought with me to expand our membership in the party and helped us gain many seats in the last election. I implore every single Nationalist to support a proven fighter so that we can win in November, Ted Cruz."

Campaign Schedule Part 1: April 27-May 3 (Weekly "Schedule"), Ads, Campaign Staff

Week of April 27-May 3

Suzan DelBene spends most of the week in her district and DC. While in DC, she works with other Progressives on the Panama Papers investigative committee that was proposed by Deputy Leader Warren. While in her district, she takes a detour to make a surprise appearance at a Pramila Jayapal campaign event, announcing her endorsement of Jayapal. During this week, DelBene takes a day off to attend some low-profile fundraisers and town hall events in California and Oregon.

DelBene's campaign staff construct minor campaign offices in every state that has yet to vote, including DC.

Staffers and volunteers in all campaign offices, major and minor, conduct a voter outreach program that consists of phonebanking, mailing leaflets, registering voters, and trying to attract new volunteers. Staffers in all districts also try to encourage primary and general election turnout. More campaign resources are allocated to these efforts in IN, NE, NJ, NM, OR, and CA.

DelBene releases new internet ads. The focus of the ads is the environment.

DelBene records and releases two new TV ads. The first is "California Dreaming." The ad will be played in California beginning on April 27:

The ad opens with a camera panning over Mendocino National Forest."California Dreamin'" plays during the course of the ad. The ad cuts to footage of DelBene meeting voters while barnstorming in Redding, CA. Next, the ad shows a camera panning over San Francisco Bay. The ad then cuts to footage from a DelBene rally in Berkeley, CA - as DelBene talks, the music continues.

The ad cuts to footage of the Los Angeles metro area. We then see DelBene speaking at a rally in Los Angeles.

The second is "Vote Progressive." The ad will be aired nationally beginning on April 29. For all intents and purposes, it is a general election ad, but is not specifically tied to DelBene's leadership campaign and can be aired after the primaries end:
