I would say both as he seems to be good fits for both but I will go with Iowa due to it coming before the NH primary
(I would run in the Republican Primary )

Iowa, for many reasons including ideology and geography.

New Hampshire, because of its proximity to New York and location in the NE.

Certainly Iowa in light of your past comments about NH, though it'd be interesting to consider how a generic candidate with your political views would do in either place.  Iowa Republicans are super religious, and New Hampshire ones are more moderate/libertarian.

He'd rely on students, union workers, left-populist farmers, and a couple others to get a very strong showing in Iowa. From there, he'd rely on the youth/college and urban vote in New Hampshire, and then follow that up with heavy investment in New England minus Connecticut, everything west of Missouri/AR/LA minus Texas and California, and Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. In other words, most of New England, the Western states besides CA and TX, the caucus states north of Mason-Dixon, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

TL;DR: Focus on Iowa and then head to New Hampshire for a strong showing after Iowa votes.

Do me as a Democrat.

Iowa and South Carolina, he would flat out skip over New Hampshire.
