You ought to have a flag with a block of cheese in the center!

Midwest, need flag it does.  Design one you must.
I don't take orders from the F. E. C., Midwest Chapter.

They're a bit big, so I used the thumbnails Smiley  Click to see the proper flag.

Proposal 1:

(the stars are supposed to form a circle, which is kind of hard with 10 stars, but I tried my best)

10 stars, 1 for each state in the Midwest.  The top blue represents the infinite sky, the top gold stars represent... umm.. stars? lol  The bottom gold represents the land (and our plentiful grain resources Wink), the bottom blue lakes that Naso built for us with taxpayers money (You wouldn't get that, CheeseYoda Wink) and other liquid resources

Proposal 2A:

Same as above, except with a center star that kind of unifies it.

Proposal 2B:

Almost the same as above, but this time, without any lake/land imagery for the center star, I figure the middle star could kind of represent the unified midwest... the Midwest as 'center' of the 'universe' and with the 10 states that make up the Midwest 'orbiting' it.

Proposal 3A:

(This was the design I tried to tell to King, who made the original)

The bottom blue half of the star represents the lakes, again, but this time has more of a 'rivers' vibe, fitting for the region with the source of so many rivers (Mississippi, Missouri, and so on and so forth).  But the real 'fun' symbolism is with the top half of the star, which repreents the rising sun and such, which has some really fun symbolism Smiley (hope, rising fortunes, prosperity...)

Proposal 3B:

A combination of 2B & 3A.  Yup.

(PS Is the Midwest the Soviet Russia of Atlasia?  In Midwest, flag design you! Cheesy)

I actually made it for him to his specifications.  This will have to be the Midwest FlagTM from now on. Wink

Think I still like King's the best, I do.  But, like ILV's a lot, also I do.

Just use the King/ILV design, but switch the colors.

Ideas:

Blue / Yellow (Hannukah colors!)
Blue/Red
Grey/Red
Red/Yellow

On King’s flag, lightened up the blue, I did.

Then added the text “Granumi hoc bonus,” I did.

Agree with you, I do.  Any students of Latin on the Forum, are there?

"Mica est bonus."

PS: Am I the only one who thinks that this sentence:

...is eerily similar to that old joke, "In Soviet Russia, car drives you!"?

I dont live in the Midwest, but I must say as a vexillogical expert, the Sovietesque "In Midwest, flag designs you" flag is the most beautiful flag I have ever seen and I wish to add it to my collection of great flags.

A bit of retouching!  I tried to use a reasonable facimile of the font you used in the serious ones.  What font did you use, anyway? Tongue

The hammer and sickle has been replaced by Flag's crudely designed You, with a little star over You.

"flag" looks like "hag" which would be... weird.
