Yeah, inanity, because I haven't seen BLM riot and disrupt people's daily lives at the Mall of America, state fair, highways, etc. in my own back yard. We have a lot of them here around the Twin Cities and they are not well liked outside the ones who are already firmly on their side.

Anecdote is not data nor is it solid evidence.

There is a huge difference between a mainstream BLM supporter and a Black nationalist. BLM activists are usually single issue activists, focusing on police brutality and in some cases, branching out to issues like poverty. Economically, most are progressives, with some liberals and socialists mixed in. Black nationalists are similar to white nationalists in that they demand a homeland for their race. They come from all across the political spectrum and have different end goals depending on their ideological affiliation.

Black Panthers are more similar to BLM, however, with the crucial distinction of supporting the Second Amendment and having an economic philosophy consistent with Marxisim Leninism or even Maoism.

All but BLM have beliefs that are antithetical to the Democratic Party. Older Black Panthers may vote Democratic because they've either mellowed out or they care less about economics and more about police brutality.

So yes, you are being completely disingenuous here. There are meaningful distinctions that need to be made and you're ignoring them

Most of the original Black Panthers have moderated their views, no longer support Black Separatism, and are now on the left wing of the Democratic Party. Most of them will probably be voting Hillary, with smaller numbers voting for Jill Stein or sitting out the election.
