Resonate, meaning "to have particular meaning or importance for someone : to affect or appeal to someone in a personal or emotional way" (Merriam-Webster).

Under that definition, climate change and immigration will resonate with white blue-collar workers because those issues "have particular meaning or importance" to them.

However, Clinton's position on those issues will make produce a negative resonance, not a positive one. She wants to tighten environmental regulations, which will hurt some blue-collars (i.e. coal miners); and her support for amnesty entails more competition for already struggling blue-collars. Clinton is not a good fit for this group.

Edited to clarify "resonate positively", which I assumed to be a given... we can do a similar poll/thread on which of these issues are least popular with White Working Class voters another time.
