People have made a big deal out of this for a while, so I thought it warranted one of these on the day of the primary. Discuss.

Paul Ryan 69-31, I originally envisioned a closer race however I see Paul Ryan as the one that has the momentum.

Paul Ryan 72%
Paul Nehlen 29%

Ryan wins renomination, coasts to reelection over Tom Breu. However, the House Republican majority could be at risk. If Rob Zerban had ran against Ryan as he did in 2012 and 2014, he might have made it competitive.

101% will seem suspicious.

Ryan, like Boehner has always kept strong ties and constituent services in his district, so he almost certainly won't be cantored, the media attention and the breitbart support might get nehlen 35% if he is lucky

Ryan should win easily, by a 2:1 margin or so.

If Ryan loses renomination, tomorrow morning may be hell for the GOP.

Ryan is the projected winner. He'll likely beat the Democratic challenger.

I'd predict an 84 to 16 win for Ryan, but about a third of returns are already in and show about that margin.

I recall I saw a Breitbart poll that showed Ryan down 13%.  What baloney!

That "poll" never existed. It was entirely fabricated, so it fit in well at Breitbart.

I'm gonna be bold and predict this...

---------

✔ Paul Nehlen - 53%
Paul Ryan - 47%

---------

I will also predict that Paul Nehlen will win election to Congress by a healthy margin.

Paul Ryan will immediately resign as Speaker of the House and be replaced by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who was the original person favoured to be Speaker of the House last year.

Well, this was stupid.

Well yes, the actual polls showed him up 75-90%. Most people in the district understand Nehlen is doing it all for himself and to be in the national spotlight. Nutjob declared war on Ryan last night in his concession speech and said it's not over and he doesn't represent the district, seriously?

I would've guessed 92-8. Shockingly close!
