Yes, not only because their government is terrible but they're a bunch of f[inks]ing cheaters.

I'm quite glad Lilly King defeated that doping b!tch who should've been banned anyway. Hearing about how she got booed when her name was announced made my day though.

I actually tend to root for them in most events - roughly a top 5 favorite in non-football events. Better than America naturally.

I grew up in the cold war and they've given me little reason to feel better about them since, so yes, yes I do.  Also the PRC.

Not that I watch much Olympics.  The Spanish lost to the Croats in basketball in the background during my fantasy football draft last weekend and I watched a half hour of some bike race when we went out to eat for the wife's birthday.  That's it.

I root for USA, Benin, and Usain Bolt.
Other than that I'm just rooting against Brazil.  The World Cup wasn't punishment enough for this disaster.
That said, while I do feel some camaraderie with the happy Chinese or Japanese or Italians when they win their medals, I usually don't feel that way for the Russians.  But then they never seem as happy to win.

Haven't they kept the same tune as the Soviet anthem? The lyrics are different, of course, but the lyrics aren't what make it GLORIOUS.
