There's nothing wrong with that, but when creating threads on news, they should at least try to neutrally reflect the news (this one, e.g., doesn't even say who it is in the title). Sorry, I was already wound up by the multiple "LOL" titles from yesterday and the many threads now stuffed into the Hillary health megathread.

I bet Trump could have got Lieberman if he courted him and if he didn't treat Joe's friend John McCain so badly.  It would have been a big coup to counter all the Never Trump Republicans.  Again this shows a lack of organization and candidate discipline.

Joe Lieberman is a centrist. I'm centrist on some issues. I did not agree with Lieberman on all foreign policy issues. He's a sane centrist. That's why Gore picked him. But it probably cost Gore the presidency with hard leftist Nader being a spoiler. Yes, he may be a DINO, but he did do some good things in Congress.

Yes, I know that you feel Lieberman played nice to Cheney to appeal to "moderate Republicans for Gore/Lieberman", but Lieberman is a centrist. Some things I agreed with him on, some I didn't. They feel he's the last breed of "moderate Scoop Jackson Democrats" because a lot of people feel that Sanders and socialists have taken over the party.

Hillary's no Scoop Jackson.  But, yes, Trump is not a neocon.
