My fellow Republicans across America.

I agree completely.

Please, start diverting campaign funds away from the Trump campaign and direct them to down ballot races now.

This would likely save the House for us, and may even save the Senate for us.

The Trump campaign is imploding.  Every time he opens his mouth he says something stupid, embarrasses the Republican Party and or insults someone or some group.

Trump is not who we Republicans are and he does not stand for what we Republicans stand for.

Quit wasting money on the Trump campaign.  Use it for the down ballot races.  That is our only hope.

The Presidential race is lost, and Trump does not deserve to win anyway.

Because this worked for Ohio Democrats who had to face Ed Fitzgerald at the top of the ballot...

But it did work out for Republicans in 1996. Unfortunately for them Trump Dole.

This is a losing proposition.

If Trump loses, the Senate is gone and consequently the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is gone for conservatives already.

It is now. Your party primary voters had many other valid options. They decisively chose Trump. Let's not pretend like that doesn't mean anything.

How about, let's not give money to any of these ridiculous politicians and keep it for ourselves, m'kay? Like we can make a difference?

But we will take our party back once Trump suffers a devastating defeat in November.

No problem.

If Republicans want to divert funds down the ballot, the Democrats can do it too.

Trump is not who we Republicans are and he does not stand for what we Republicans stand for.
This Republican voted for Trump and will continue to support him.

The establishment part of the Republican Party needs to take a back seat for once and support the nominee, much like they expected us to vote for Romney and McCain. You lost. Get over it.

We survived 1932, we survived 1936, we survived 1964, and like a phoenix the Republican Party will rise from the ashes of 2016.

In the form of who? Cruz? Because it won't be until he takes some Trumpist turns. A deep section of the party loves Donald Trump, the party as a whole is more anti-free trade, skeptical of free market ideology, and more nationalist than ever before. That's the permanent effect, Republicans will not nominate someone who doesn't blame trade agreements or immigrants for their economic problems anymore. Your establishment section is a minority among the rank and file, sorry to say.

Three or four years is a long time in politics.

There will be plenty of time for rebuilding, rebranding, reevaluating, rehabilitation, and recovery for the Republican Party before the next Presidential election.

The four years between 2012 and 2016 clearly weren't enough time.

I mean, it could have been, if anyone actually cared about doing that.

I don't think there will ever come a point in my life that I'll donate to a campaign, LOL.

Maybe this should provide me with the following epiphany: I should chill out, shut the hell up and start studying craft beer (more).  Cubs are also killin' it, what the heck is there to get worked up about??
