What a damning article. It just totally obliterates her from multiple angles.

To summarize...

1. she fearmongers about WiFi, despite being a Harvard-trained doctor... stoking ignorance rather than dispelling it (and doesn't talk about how WiFi is helping to lift kids out of poverty)

2. same thing on vaccines

3. she expresses a strong opinion, then completely reverses her position, with no explanation

4. she uses extreme rhetoric about her opponents, and floats conspiracy theories (ex: Hillary Clinton enables the return of the Nazis)

5. she misrepresents how well she's doing in the polls to fundraise money (using an online local news poll her supporters swamped as proof she's doing well, and why you should donate)

6. her running mate is big into conspiracy theories, helping Holocaust deniers, 9/11 truthers, and how the CIA are behind the attacks in the US and France to start a new war

7. Jill Stein personally dined with Vladimir Putin in Moscow, while attacking US foreign policy... and no criticism to Putin

8. her running mate defends Assad, the bloody dictator of Syria, as democratically-legitimate

She panders to the worst, and isn't that different from Trump.

I can appreciate a good critique of any candidate. Still seems like the author might be overly worried about any impact she's going to have to put this much effort into Jill Stein.

Stein is not the greatest candidate for the Left, obviously. She needs to be clear, concise and well-researched in her positions as to avoid trash-worthy hit pieces like this one. At the same time, articles like this demonstrate the hypothesis that Stein is a threat: which is exactly what helps increasing awareness. The majority of Green supporters already know these things about her (and her less-than-fantastic choice for running mate) and support her regardless.

The only genuine criticism in this piece is her position reversals, which, granted, would be rather harmful to her campaign if morons weren't distracted by the petty wifi remark. Comparing her to Trump is rather excessive.

In-thread poll: would it be a good idea for Hillary to make these same criticisms to make sure Bernie fans don't go over to Stein, or would it be counter-productive to give her the attention?
