Which president was most obsessed with power? The most power hungry/power mad chief-executive in history?

My suggestions: Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.

FDR, LBJ, Nixon, and Jackson. All four in somewhat different ways though. FDR was willing to stifle the checks and balances of government to pass his agenda. Nixon was paranoid and willing to go to criminal means to hold on to power. Jackson used power to level personal grievances. LBJ just liked power.

LBJ and Tricky Dick. LBJ was certainly the most effective president in terms of legislation.
