We are already halfway into the second half of the season. Who wins their divisions? Who wins the wildcards? Who wins their league championships? Who wins the World Series?

I want a Red Sox vs. Cubs World Series. Should have happened in 2003.

AL East: Blue Jays
AL Central: Indians
AL West: Rangers
NL East: Nationals
NL Central: Cubs
NL West: Dodgers
AL Wildcards: Orioles and Mariners
NL Wildcards: Giants and Cardinals
World Series: Cubs over Indians in 6.

No Red Sox Yankees AL title series?

You guys may be right. The Chicago Cubs are the World Series favorites. It's World Series or bust in Chicago. They got new clubhouse designs, etc, the GM is Theo Epstein (who was the 2004 Boston Red Sox champion).

The Chicago Cubs won the NL Central championship last night, the first time since 2008. The question remains whether they can get to the World Series. They're on track of winning 100+ games. Can manager Joe Maddon do what Dusty Baker and Lou Piniella couldn't do?

It would be nice to see the Cubs win a championship for the first time since 1908, but I don't know if they are playing under pressure, like the 2007 and 2008 Cubs did.

Cubs team president Theo Epstein, who helped the Boston Red Sox win the 2004 and 2007 World Series championships, should be commended. He knows how to turn "cursed" franchises around.
