I guess I'll be rooting for Washington in the playoffs.

Congrats computer, Willie Taggart is basically the ideal hire, except in that I always viewed him as NFL material. Even if this is just a pits top, it's hard to imagine getting luckier.

Shame on CBS for having Hitler that piece of trash in the booth to start the second half.

I obviously like Navy best, but this is the only year I cheered for Army for my grandfather, so it's great to see that result.

Made up for all the FCS blowouts...not sure how much NDSU improved their odds because EWU and Madison look more formidable than anyone ever before.

D2 favorites showed some vulnerability today, so I am prepared for quite the championship game - perhaps the most hyped in several years.

North Dakota State/James Madison is going to be a fun game to watch, especially considering what JMU did to Sam Houston State last night.

So trump bashed army/navy football for not being the best football? Great move donny you a**.

While I am partial towards Jabrill Peppers, I am not going to argue that he totally should have won the Heisman over Jackson, but I don't think Jackson was that great of a Heisman winner. Nobody was truly dominant this year.

I guess I think that you could say Jackson was the best player this year, but I think what Jabrill did was more impressive in terms of who is the "most outstanding player".

Far better than Obama going around the world apologizing for America's arrogance.

I'm glad Lamar Jackson won the heisman. Was the best player this year, by far. I think his slide in the last few games would have hurt him more if he started slipping a game or two earlier. But, he didn't and no other player came close to him.

I think Deshaun Watson meant a lot to Clemson, in terms of success, but without Jackson I don't see how Louisville would even be ranked.

I love Jabril Peppers but he didn't really alter Michigan's season in terms of making them waaay better. Michigan is an overall solid team and that hurt Pepper's heisman hopes.

Same goes for Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook. Both are great players but OU has so much talent. Perine and Mixon are studs and strike fear into defenses with their running games. Mixon also did well receiving wise and arguably had just as much of an impact on OU's season as Mayfield and Westbrook.

Also, OU going 0-2 to start the year and against two ranked teams has to hurt Mayfield's stock. Westbrook did not play in either game, to add on to that. He also got hurt in the OK St game.

But, Mayfield, Westbrook, Mixon and Perine all deserve credit for helping bring OU's season back to life and running the table in Big 12 play. That takes guts, heart and passion.

Ultimately, Jackson deserved to win by so much.

Rooting for UW and EWU, of course. I think the latter has a real chance to win it all.

The potential end of one of the most incredible dynasties I have seen!

James Madison defeats the five-time defending FCS National Champion North Dakota St. 27-17 in the semifinals.

Wow. I mentioned in IRC that I dropped NDSU's odds to 50% after last weekend, but I truly thought home field and a weak JMU D would get them at least through to the final.

Thus ends the longest consecutive dynasty in American football history.

Yes. And so did Penn State, who will beat Southern Cal.

I said I would have preferred Penn State in. Ohio State is probably better, but they failed when they had the chance. I still think USC might have been the best alternative to both in terms of ability to win, but they had no legitimate case to be in. We'll see tonight, I reckon!

Agreed. USC right now looks like a Top 5 team -- if only they could cut off the first three week sof their season.

Sad with Michigan's loss, but giddy with ohio's dismantling at the hands of Clemson. They were not one of the four best teams in the country.

Mixed year for the Golden Eagles. Didn't meet expectations (CUSA title) but won a bowl plus had a win over a 7 win SEC team on the road.

Looking forward to this fall when Kentucky comes to Hattiesburg.
