Shockingly, he has remained among my favorite Republicans in spite of taking the absolute wrong side in this election, which is a good signal that he is a very good person.

FF.  One of the good guys.

Also love his shirtless bipartisan island survivor series with Martin Heinrich.

Vaguely FF, as he seems to personally be a nice guy, and also has a spine when it comes to Trump and the like.

Despite his anti-Trump positions, I like him. I think he's pretty awesome.

This, despite being on the wrong side of politics generally

Other than his island adventures, the main things I know Jeff Flake for are his rabid anti-earmarkism, including a weekly series of press releases in his freshman days where he would publicly shame other congressmen for their wasteful earmarks (the most freshman-congressman thing ever), and his sincere, devoted work on immigration reform.  I also remember watching him talk about some obscure environmental issues once and he seemed like a sincere guy who really knew what he was talking about.

Other than that, he's generic R.  But that's what congress is.  You get in there, pick a few things you care about and really want to accomplish, and work on those while generally toeing the line on other issues to try to earn the respect of leadership and increase your influence/power.

Pretty decent for a Republican, particularly one from Arizona.

I'd probably vote for him over a really terrible Democrat.

Sadly, he'll probably lose to some wackjob like Laura Ingraham in the primary in 2018.
