Formerly daily (~3.5 miles), but now it takes less time to just walk (0.3 miles) than to drag is up/down stairs!

I don't but I'd kind of like to sometimes when it's nice out and I don't have anything else to do.  It would be a long (10ish miles), but straight, safe and easy...there is a bike path that pretty much goes from my front door at home to the front door at work.  But I don't have a bike, and fear biking to work and then not wanting to bike back home in the morning.

I didn't learn how until I was thirteen or so, and I'm still not completely sure I can.

I don't have the space for a bike, though i'll probably get one for recreational purposes once I get a bigger place to live.

Can't ride a bike, plus its 5-10 miles to anywhere from my house, on a two lane road with no shoulder.

Yeah, those stairs really were a bitch.

My parents have never voted for a Democrat in their lives (an honor you can't quite claim), and they bike daily.  Not to work, though, because who wants to be sweaty at work, but they certainly own bikes!

I walk to work every day, as a consequence of working on campus, but I've never ridden a bike to work.

I just don't trust myself to ride a bike in the city. I'm too sure that I'll hit a rock or slightly swerve or something and get waffled. In terms of convenience, it'd be a great idea considering how close I live to work.

Never. I like biking, but there are several reasons why that wouldn't be very practical for me.

Never, despite there being decent infrastructure for it around here, I hate cycling. The primary reason is that I don't trust myself if it were to get busy.

My official work place is three blocks away so I walk. My other work sites are 30 miles (commuter train ride) and 200 miles (drive).

I did bike to school (MN weather permitting), and at college and grad school I had no car, so I primarily used a bike to get around.

But since my current commute involves no bicycling I answered never.

Well I can't go to work that way but whenever I need stuff at the grocery store (or anything near by like that) and I can fit it in my backpack, I bike there. Otherwise it's just that and recreational.

It doesn't make sense for me to own a bike here since I live a mile from campus, which is walkable most days, and since on days when the weather is unpleasant there's a free university bus that stops not too far from my building.
