Nope. Both states are basically gone for Democrats.

I say none for OK, but I can see one or two WV counties going for Clinton though I'm not sure which they'd be.

What about those four counties (Cherokee, Muskogee, McIntosh, and Okmulgee) in Northeast Oklahoma/Little Dixie? Muskogee actually swung Democratic in 2012, as did Oklahoma and Comanche. I realize both are long shots even in an impending landslide. I'll go out on a limb here and say she probably won't win Oklahoma or Comanche, but I think she will win Muskogee.

(Any Oklahomans have any insight as to why this cluster of counties in NWOK are more Democratic/less Republican than other rural counties? Native Americans? Historical/Ancestral Dixiecrats?)

As for West Virginia, I'm gonna predict four: Jefferson, Berkeley, Monongalia, and McDowell.

I would love to hear the justification for these.

Because he does not want them to be Dems. I mean, which primary would you prefer them to be in?

And I'm guessing he thinks those people are pretty much human waste, as do you?

IDK, the counties in Oklahoma that are moving towards the Democrats (mostly Tulsa and OKC) are too populous to swing too far for a Clinton win, but the counties that used to be fairly Democratic are moving away fast and are prime targets for Trump's message.

I never understood this logic myself--I'd prefer a 50-state sweep rather than desire to lose states due to what they may or may not symbolize.

Never. She is especially deeply unpopular in WV with her coal comments.

Yeah, it's sad people can't accept the truth about a dying industry and Trump just lies to them about it.

On paper Jefferson should vote for Hillary, it's only connection to coal is being trapped in WV.  It has the second highest college degree attainment after Monongalia, and as mention Romney only won by 4 pts.  While next door Berkeley could swing to Hillary, it's part of the historically Republican Shenandoah and doesn't have the level of college degrees as Jefferson.  Monongalia has both WVU and rather large struggling coal mine.  Probably a pretty schizo result by precinct.  These three counties have all grown quite steadily during the Obama years (and prior) while the rest of WV tanks.  McDowell county barely has anyone left, but they'll vote for Trump.
