Who would you rather have as president out of these two?

I voted for former President Gerald Ford.

In 2016? Obviously Hillary, because she'd be accountable to the modern Democratic base and Congressional delegation, while Ford would be accountable to the modern GOP base and Congressional delegation.

Ford of course. He's one of the best people ever to serve as president.

This.

Even actual moderate-to-liberal or outrigh liberal Republicans of the past would be accountable to the modern GOP base. The same with those very few remaining "moderates" of the present.

Hell, if Grover Cleveland were President now, elected as Democrat, he'd be governing according to the modern party's demands.

Clinton.  I really don't understand the Ford lust around here.  He had some accomplishments, yes, but precious few and some which arguably contributed to the recession that decade.
