I think he might hold back just long enough for his staff to think they've put a leash on him, then the next "outrage" item will happen and he'll go right back to his normal self. I'll give it maybe a week.

I'm very happy about this. The high points of the Trump campaign, to me, were the moments of humility - his Iowa caucus concession speech (which is when I no longer ruled out voting for him), the RNC ad-lib where he said that he might not have deserved the level of support from Evangelicals that he got, and now this. Ideologically, I'm basically a more religious version of Trump, so for me, it's all about character. I have to admit, Trump doesn't always make supporting him easy, but moments like this give me hope.
