This is not an apology.

A true apology would cite specific incidents.  This is just a general statement, making it impossible to take any one instance where he's said something stupid as something he now feels regret over.

A true apology would also mean he won't make similar mistakes in the future, and I highly doubt that's going to happen.

Saying you regret something and not acknowledge your fault is not an apology.

What a strawman.

He said he regrets. It's all he said.

How is that a strawman?

Saying you regret something and not acknowledging the how or why is well, completely pointless. You know when you deal with children "I'm sorry" "what are you sorry for?" "xxx" "OK, good boy"

This simply makes me hate him even more. Does he think we're stupid?

He's counting on it.

If Trump is actually able to stick with this, it could be a game changer.

Hopefully he goes back go his old ways tomorrow and we won't have to worry about this being a competitive election and instead be able to try to make control of the House competitive lol

If Trump is able to get away with this BS though,.....smh

Ugh - I hate my fellow Red avatars when things aren't guaranteed.
