Numbers appear to have returned to pre convention levels, and he didn't say anything stupid, so Trump by default.

Clinton by default. Hiring a white nationalist to run your campaign and the the former manager resigning automatically disqualifies you from winning. It was a tad bit closer because the media ate up his apology so fast.

We haven't nearly gotten enough national polling to make that assumption. The only decent poll we've gotten to suggest that was the Pew poll, but we need more than one to back that up.

Marginally Trump, but not by much. The polling levels continue to creep down a bit.

2 campaign shake ups in 1 week for Trump. I don't see how that's a win for him.

Push, no big changes this week. Trumps campaign shakeup could effect him down the road, but we won't know until later.

Because adding two new voices is as bad as losing one apparently....

Anyway, I'd say Trump has stopped the bleeding after a very bad stretch for him, which is good news.

Campaign shakeups don't matter much to Joe Average Voter. The only metric I am looking at is, whose numbers improved in the horse race. The convention bounce right now is slowly eroding.

This is a peak vacation week, there's really not a lot of politicking or paying attention to politicking going on.

Your campaign manager resigning because he is about to be indicted is never good.

Oh, but let's all remember, Hillary has email.

Bold prediction: This will get 0.00000000000000000001% as much coverage as the emails did.

How dare they not give this scandal the fair coverage it deserves!! The lamestream media obviously has it in for Trump.

As a matter of fact, yes, right now they probably do. The media loves horseraces, so whenever a candidate is losing big they try what they can to prop it up.

TIL that overhauling your staff twice because your former manager is literally a Russian plant is "strong leadership"

This.  He went on offense and got a first down.  He didn't score, however, and Hillary didn't throw a pick six.

Trump in polling but probably Clinton in the long run. Bannon isn't qualified to run a national campaign.

Gary Johnson raised $2.7 million in a couple days, made some gains in the whole "get in the debate" thing, and his super PACs made some pretty sick ads.

These polls are probably not very useful since we are a lot more Clinton supporters here then Trump supporters.

Anyway, I voted Trump for the following reasons:

1) He had a week without new insane comments, or at least not any that gained any traction. Anytime he has a week like that, a number of republicans return home.

2) This was also somewhat reflected in polls, which seems to have tightened a tad, even if Clinton still holds a decisive lead.

3) Clinton was more or less invisible last week and the coverage she did get wasn't great.

Most important was probably this though:

4) Trump has seemingly decided to - for the time being - do teleprompter speeches and stop saying crazy sh**t all of the time. Time will tell whether he keeps it up. If the polls don't budge after a week or two of this, I'm sure he'll come back strong with some seriously retarded stuff.

Trump for how he handled the Louisiana flooding and the polls coming back down to Earth.

What polls!? We've gotten a pew poll and the crummy tracking polls.

I'd say Trump as he finally is trying to turn his campaign around and dumped possible-traitor Manafort.

Trump would have won it by virtue of low expectations had he not ended it by replacing his campaign manager yet again.
