Had John Delaney been defeated by Dan Bongino in 2014, would Bongino have run a gubernatorial primary challenge against Larry Hogan in 2018? Bongino came close to winning MD-06 in 2014 because of Hogan’s coattails.

No. He would have lost in 2016, probably by double digits, and probably becomes a right-wing commentator.

So in essence: He's a RW commentator much like he is currently in real life, except he is called Congressman, and John Delaney never runs for President. Trone might get the seat two years early.
