I don't really like Pierce's pro-slavery views, but he'd certainly be more liberal than that evil corporate shill!

Hillary - being from New Hampshire, Pierce would be too angry.

You know it's bad when you have to compare Clinton to Pierce to make her look good.

You idiot, it's the other way around. It's trying to prove that some people hate of Hillary makes them look stupid, because they'd prefer a pro-slavery, bad president instead of her

Is being personally racist really enough to make you prefer W??  So he's gotta rank above LBJ and Woodrow Wilson.  And Truman grew up quite the little racist, and we can't forget FDR vetoing anti-lynching legislation, appointing a segregationist to the court and interning tons of Americans because their skin was yellow, he has to be below Bush, too, right?

Scarily, it's more effective at doing what TNVol says.

Obviously, the New Yorker for me.

...What exactly is the point you are trying to make here? Pretty much every past president is going to seem racist by modern standards, but surely you aren't suggesting that the racism of people like FDR and Truman is on an equivalent level to that of Franklin Pierce, right?

While Pierce didn't do a good job in office, he was dealt a tough, tough hand.  I think he'd do far better in office today, and at least with Pierce there's a chance of pro-life, pro-religious liberty Supreme Court justices, and he wouldn't support SJW values like Clinton.  Of course, I am transplanting Pierce into a modern setting, as the issues of today are indeed different.
