Weston Imer, who is 12 years old, is in charge of the GOTV operation in Jefferson County, CO.

Technically his mom is the official field coordinator, but Weston has most of the responsibilities.

Well, Colorado looks pretty hopeless for Trump anyway.  Why not do something that creates some media buzz? (Plus, the GOP needs some more active young people in their party anyway, so they might as well start as young as possible.)

Jefferson has a population of around 1/2 million and is the fourth biggest county in the state. It is a swing county that Bush won twice and Obama won twice.

So this kid is going to skip school on Election Day in order to get people to the polls?  His teachers should schedule some big tests that day, worth a large fraction of his grade for the semester.  Then don't give him the option to take it later.
