Most of these examples seem to be ancestral Democrats finally registering with the party they've voted for over the past few decades. Personally, I am more excited with a net increase of African American and Hispanic voters vs Whites in Florida of 167,808 since the general election in 2012.
The news out west, particularly in Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada is encouraging for future prospects.
Even if that's true, something had to motivate these "ancestral Democrats" to actually switch their registration. That bodes well for voter intensity and the GOP come November.
