Definitely one of the strongest bills enacted into law during the Obama-Administration. The financial crises made it necessary to regulate the banking sector. Dodd-Frank should be strengthened to avoid further crashes on taxpayer痴 expense.

Doesn't go far enough, but a significant step in the right direction.

Doesn't affect those who acted unethically and penalized those that didn't with costly regulations and red tape.

It is a nuisance for banks that obey the law but no problem for banks that don't behave properly. There is so much red tape.

The conflict minerals clause is especially a nuisance. It can be very difficult to trace the origin of certain minerals. I know several industries that this clause can be difficult for.

I've heard this as well.

I have a few friends involved in marketing Satellites/Radars and other Telecom who complain. I also remember reading an article a few years ago warning about shortages and how the trade restrictions in Dodd-Frank would not be effective in deescalating the Great Lakes conflict.
