Yep, the game continues to be "rigged" against people who actively refuse to read the rule book. Roll Eyes

According to The Hill, the relevant paperwork has been filed (they had until Monday, anwyay), and Trump is on the ballot in Minnesota.

Yeah MN Dems shouldn't try to exacerbate this or anything; they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by pushing the "rigged" narrative.  Assist the dysfunctional MN GOP in getting Trump on the ballot so that the good people of MN can deliver him a good trashing at the ballot box fair and square this November.

I don't think MN dems should actively help the GOP by putting Trump on the ballot, but they certainly shouldn't challenge Trump being on the ballot if he in fact does qualify for it. They should just let the situation play out on its own

Agree.

Everyone will probably look the other way, just like they did with Romney when technically he shouldn't have been on the Washington state ballot.

And Obama when he shouldn't have been on the Texas ballot.

When was the last time a major party's nominee wasn't on a state ballot, 1964? (Democrats having "unpledged electors" instead of LBJ in Alabama; Humphrey was on the ballot four years later, but as a "National Democrat".)

DFL wouldn't want Trump to not be on the ballot, anyway. They're gunning to take back the State House this year and in the absence of a presidential election, turnout would likely be quite a bit lower.

State DFL has announced they will not challenge Trumps spot on the ballot.

Embarrassment for the MN GOP, even  the "Legal Marijuana Now Party" managed to get on the ballot without any problems.

Question is whether other candidates (Mike McMullen seems the obvious choice) would challenge, or any disaffected GOP delegates (like myself) disenfranchised by the GOP screwups.

The blame is definitely on the MN GOP. The party has been a disorganized mess since 2012 when they ran their accounts dry and kicked off four years of factional infighting that continues to this day.

What this tells me, basically, is that the Trumps campaign organization is so poor and could very well be the difference in the election because Hillary has a great ground game and campaign organization well in place. The Clintons have been doing this their whole lives.
