LePage only knows how to make enemies.

Democrats ought to hope that LePage is the 2018 GOP nominee.

Luckily for the GOP, Maine governors are restricted to 2 consecutive terms.

Yes, that's why he is preparing to run for Senate, against Angus King. He already announced he will run unless he gets a position in Trump's admistration.

Does this boy do this when sober or drunk?  Inquiring minds want to know. He looks like a lush to me.

Did you listen to the voicemail?  That should answer your question. Wink

I wouldn't if I were them. Maine's voters might just elect him anyway.

Jesus, the full 72-hour period surrounding this voicemail has been... fantastic.

Paul LePage has always been among the most wicked Republicans. His racist rhetoric should come as no surprise. This has already occurred on multiple occasions before. I would have a lot of trouble voting for him if I had to, which says a lot given his awesome persona. Quite a shame the good folks of Maine couldn't just get behind Cutler last time, but we can't fix the past. Hopefully this sad joke's gone for good from his dangerous policymaking, soon only to have a voice on whatever Trump News Network is created.

2018 can't come soon enough - hopefully Cutler gives it one last go. The people deserve him.

Elliot Cutler declined to run in 2018.

Just goes to show what kind of rhetoric becomes acceptable when we demonize political correctness and let it be "cool" to be politically incorrect.  The people of Maine elected this man and re-elected him and I am sure they would re-elect him again if given the chance.  This kind of rhetoric is not a bother to them; who cares about political correctness?  After all, it's not like this rhetoric coming from our government officials is dangerous or anything!

Still didn't get >48% of the vote either time. If turnout and no Independent glory seeker ran he probably would have lost both times.

He is term-limited and most likely running for Senate. You think he'll beat Angus King?

No? That would be Kasich, Abbott and maybe Haslam. But at least LePage is no Maggie Hassan.

Yes, she leaves so many nasty voicemails.

You've still never articulated what is so bad about her.

Using this as the de facto "Crazy things Paul LePage says" thread

LePage says we need a Donald Trump to 'show authoritarian power'
