No, not really, I'd just work to make sure Anti-Trump Reps or worst case Dems get elected in the 2018 midterms

As much as relocating to, say, Vancouver sounds appealing for reasons having very little to do with Mr. Trump, no, I do not have any plans to change my residence or my citizenship any time soon.

Probably not. I'd be graduating college halfway through his term with interest in moving to Canada anyway, it most likely wouldn't have anything to do with him.

I would want to, but I don't think an immediate exit would be very possible. I'll just have to plan on being jailed for speaking out against his administration.

Maybe, but not for political reasons. Besides, the U.S. needs me to help get rid of Trump in 2020.

I would wait to see the apocolaypse that will be 2018 for Republicans and then the landslide destruction of Trump in 2020 by Cory Booker (or someone else). Anyways it will be hilarious.

No. I wouldn't give up on the country like that, and even if I wanted to, the uncertainty of quitting my job and heading north would be too great.

None of the people now saying that they will leave the country if Trump wins will actually leave it.

Right, many (including myself at least at first) will stay for financial reasons. Others will fail to be allowed into their preferred new country. But I'm assuming that doesn't apply for this thread to get a look at who would stay (mostly) willingly.

I do have another home on the other side of the world, so it would be tempting. I wouldn't be able to just up and leave immediately, though, so I'd have to be around for at least a bit of Trump's presidency. Perhaps what actually happened would have some bearing on my decision.

Yes, as soon as I graduate from college, I would go to grad school up in BC.

And no, I'm not bluffing - I would consider grad school in BC regardless of who wins the election. Trump would just make me more likely to focus on applying to grad schools there rather than in Washington/Oregon.

Not unless my life actually becomes hell as the result of his policies - which it very well might, but I want to hope isn't quite a certainty.

I'd like to think that in Trumpist America, I'd be the person who hid a Hispanic/Muslim family in my attic and was later portrayed favorably in an autobiography one of the family members wrote.

If you weren't the one in the attic to begin with, that is. Wink

No. Everything I know is where I currently live. The things I'd leave behind are more important then avoiding president trump.
