HP, sure

I don't agree with the causes of Dilma Rousseff's impeachment. Even if you agree, you have to accept that the trial should be done by the Congress, and the vice president has to do no more than just sit and wait. It is what Itamar Franco did when Fernando Collor was impeached in 1992. Itamar just waited the trial, and then he became president and organized his cabinett.
Michel Temer was different. He negotiated the votes for the impeachment. He offered ministries for the parties whose Congressmen vote for the impeachment.

That's why I think that the word "golpista" fits very well in his person.

Besides, his ministries are horrible.

From what I've read Itamar wasn't too keen on succeeding the Presidency (a clear contrast with Michel "I'm maneuvering myself to become President" Temer). Even if he actually wanted that, he indeed displayed a proper restrain until Collor was officially gone.

I remember reading somewhere that when the s**t started hitting the fan, Itamar was actually open to step down, so Ulysses Guimarães can take over if Collor is removed, which obviously became a moot after Ulysses's death in October.
