Coming up tomorrow: Florida and Georgia polls, both entirely post- #debate. Expect release around noon

This is stupid.

How?

It's best to wait a couple days after the debate to let the full impact sink into the American psyche. The weekend would be the best time to poll. Also one day polls can be really fickle and jump around a lot.

Makes sense

A one-night robopoll the night of a major news event may be the trashiest trash poll ever polled.

Their last poll early August was Trump 40 Clinton 44 in Georgia. I'm going to guess Clinton/Trump +2.

Tennessee Google Consumer Studies poll (that I commissioned) to be released at the top of the hour.  Before weighting, I am giving it a 2-3 on the PPP Democratic happiness scale.

It's always cool to have members commission polls, no matter the state.

Considering they had Trump up 17 in Utah, I don't have very high expectations. I'll guess Trump +8.

Most will start the polls over the weekend and release them early next week.

Going off of 2012, we had the final debate on a Monday.

4 days after-
2 national polls released

6 days after-
1 poll

7 days after-
3 polls

8 days after-
1 poll

Trump +5 in Texas, more likely to be over that number

Curious if she'll cross the 43% barrier
