It just came to my mind that a several good presidents (Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy, Wilson, FDR (Garner) and Eisenhower) had nutjobs as vice president. Who are your favorite teams, meaning both prez and VP were true FFs.

My overall favorite is actually Obama/Biden. Others are FDR with both Wallace and Truman, JFK/LBJ, LBJ/HHH and, hopefully, Clinton/Kaine. I’d be neutral/lean positive towards Jefferson/Clinton, Lincoln/Hamlin, Hayes/Wheeler, Truman/Barkley, Ford/Rockefeller, Carter/Mondale and Clinton/Gore.

Monroe was another good President with a terrible VP (Tompkins the alcoholic). Andrew Jackson, although more of a mixed bag as President, is also worth noting for his awful relationship with Calhoun.

As for my favorites, I think that George Clinton was great, so both Jefferson/Clinton and Madison/Clinton are among my favorites. Lincoln/Hamlin was better than Lincoln/Johnson obviously. Coolidge/Dawes was another good team. If I had to pick one favorite, I'd probably go for Jefferson/Clinton.

Lincoln/Hamlin and Grant/Wilson were the only teams of two FFs. Jefferson/Burr is the next best, only because of Burr, followed by Jefferson/Clinton and FDR/Wallace, both of which were, again, only redeemed by their Vice Presidents.

There's not a vice president I can think of that ever would be my favorite.  Most of them are bland and did hardly anything in office worth remembering.  I think JFK/LBJ is probably the most significant "team" because of the transition of power from one to the other, even though they loathed each other.
