Let's presume that in 2020, Hillary Clinton runs for and easily wins the Democratic nomination. Evangelical conservative favorite Tom Cotton receive the Republican nomination. The most interesting aspect of the election, however, is Kanye West running as an independent.

West's campaign isn't very affixed to principles or platform planks, but largely revolves around himself and his performance art. He spends hundreds of millions on advertising, and he becomes a ubiquitous part of American culture during election season. How does he affect the race?
