I hope today's episode can put to rest the comparisons some have made between Beet and myself. I like the guy, but this is too much, even for me.

Obviously the plan is to heavily emphasize the fact that Trump does not believe in today's America, despite the fact that things are so much better than they've ever been for so many more people in the United States. There is no ideological conflict between national pride and progressivism.  Its pretty obvious what Clinton is doing here.  Rhetorically appealing to Republicans and independents with American exceptionalism while keeping a progressive policy platform.

That's a stupid question. I would say yes that "American is on the track" because it is not moving to the left fast enough. Yet if I was asked between continuing down the current path or going down the one Trump wants, I'd pick the current path with zero questions asked.
