I never thought Romney was a bad human being, I just disagreed on policies and thought he was detached. I got why people liked him, I never understood why he wanted to be president ... but that's bytheby. It's gone up, because unlike so many of his cowardly fellow party members, he's actively and specifically called Trump and his backward and dangerous campaign out.

I didn't like him before.

Since he came out against Trump (aka, shown he was sane), I like him a lot more now.

I never disliked him, just his politics. Same with McCain. I'm not even sure I dislike Trump as such, as he has his charms. I just find him extremely dangerous. And his politics are of course far worse than those of Romney and McCain.

It's definitely gone up, but I wish he could be an even more vocal critic of Trump. The Republican Party needs leaders with dignity, since they have many with none (Priebus, Ryan, McConnell, etc.)

Hasn't changed. Possibly even gone down.

He was perfectly content to pal around with Trump and bend the knee for his endorsement back during the height of Trump leading the birther movement against President Obama but now it's gone too far?

Also, I'm not sure if he'd be as bold with his anti Trumpism if he wasn't in office or wasn't filthy rich, which enables to remain influential with GOP circles come what may.
