I was really looking forward to this game....pre-ordered it and everything....once you play it.....literally none of the major features they promised made it to the game....it was a major waste of $60 that had a GREAT IDEA AND GREAT POTENTIAL.

That is the frustrating thing in the era of DLC; it's increasingly common for games to be released lacking many of the promised features.

I stopped preordering a few years ago.  I know I'll be buying BF1 (open Beta right now, if you have Origin and like shooters, you should check it out.  The horses are awesome (and OP).) and CivVI in Oct, but I won't be preordering either.

I'm super glad that I didn't hear about this until every one started getting mad about how much it sucked.

I vaguely remembered getting hyped up over a space game when I heard about how NMS was a failure, but I later remembered that I was thinking about Star Citizen.

NMS is a failure because it's a grindfest, and I watched a video of the failure of an ending and it's a cutscene of your spaceship traveling to another galaxy and crash landing on a planet that looks like any other with all your equipment destroyed so you get to grind again.
