Trump is swimming in corruption.

Can you imagine if 44,000 of his e-mails plus his tax returns were made public? Clinton would be screwed because she would be running against Gary Johnson.

The Washington Post continues to be one of the only papers to cover this:

"Trump, dismissing allegations of impropriety, says donation to Fla. AG came with no strings"

Trump mentioned it, does this mean it will get coverage? And will there be more blue avatars in this thread now that they have a defense, no matter how weak it is?

It's getting more coverage. Politico, The Atlantic, and MSNBC are on it now. Any Trump supporters here to defend their candidate?

If we're supposed to take Clinton's word for it that there was no quid pro quo, why are we to *not* take FL AG Pam Bondi's word that there was no dropped investigation?

Is there some long track record of terminological inexactitudes on Bondi's part that justifies this higher standard?

It gets deeper now...Trump hosted a fundraiser for Bondi immediately after Bondi dropped the fraud investigation into Trump U. Realizing how much trouble she was in, Bondi tried to give the money back but Trump refused.

This makes Trump's claim of not talking to Bondi pants on fire. Pretty much a textbook pay for play

Or perhaps the media understands that this will be another example of the law and consequences only applying to Republicans.  And probably best not promoted too prominently.

This is absurd. Kathleen Kane? Chaka Fattah? Corrine Brown? John Edwards? Law enforcement is not in a conspiracy against either party.

From that same story: Trump charged his own campaign roughly $140,000 for using his mansion while only charging $4,855.65 for Bondi's fundraiser.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was an affair as well, though Bondi is a little too American for Trump's taste.
