I'll vote for clinton because I wish to live within a first world country that continues to invest in its self as in educating our children, investing in science and infrastructure. I don't care if she did pay for play or was careless about her emails as I understand my government is corrupt, but of the two choices I choose clinton.

Not saying that you can't vote for Clinton, if you want to by all means do it, but this is essentially a four choice election. If you'd rather vote for Johnson or Stein, just do it. The "wasted vote" theory is only a thing because people buy into it - if everyone who said "I want to vote third-party but I don't want to waste my vote" just decided to be bold and do it, you could get someone like Johnson up to the high teens, perhaps even low twenties.

Again, what part of no indictment to cynic, Seriously??!! and ABBA Boy not understand? None of this lead the FBI to recommend indictment, so clearly it's going nowhere.

So unless you're thrown in jail for something, there's nothing wrong with it, period? So if I go and steal something but never get caught, it's fine? I mean that's basically what you're arguing.

As much as you would like it to, the Clinton e-mail scandal is not going away.  More e-mails will be released over the next few months.  And it is going somewhere - directly to Clinton's sky-high disapproval ratings.  If only the Republican candidate weren't just as universally disliked, Clinton would be losing big.

Again, no indictment, so you are beating a dead horse because you a screwed majorly by your candidate. Trump is accused of raping a 13 year old, yet that get ignored and made out to be less serious than some stupid emails that everyone is sick of hearing up.

Seat yourself.

Stealing is actually a crime (like Trump's daughter stole shoe designs) which can be prosecuted if proven. The FBI found no crime was committed by Hillary Clinton and could not recommend indictment. We don't live in a banana republic where politicians you don't like should be thrown in jail because you are losing to them.

Don't know why you are quoting me.  I asked you why her daughter would have classified information.  You still haven't answered.
I didn't said, that she had.  Libertarian Socialist said that she could use the same server as her mother. I assumed, that if someone had access to her phone/laptop, that can also get access of server. Or you think that Hillary set up a good security on her private server? Smiley

Do you know how mail servers work? Wink

I have a gmail account.  I'm sure one of the other billion people who have gmail accounts have and their phone/tablet/laptop hacked.  Does that mean that they now have access to my gmail account?  No.  Obviously not or gmail would be completely useless.

Your logic is bizarre.

It is very telling that none of you "patriots" who hope a foreign adversary illegally obtained classified information can't say x actor hacked this server like this and obtained y information.  It is all nebulous comments and rampant speculation.
Are you stupid or something. I am NOT talking about email ACCOUNT. I'm talking about mail SERVER.

DO you have Google SERVER at home? Server = computer. That probably use the same Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi can be hacked... throught daughter's phone/laptop. Through Wi-Fi hacker could get access to the SERVER. All mails went throurough this f**king SERVER.

But as you acknowledge she is going to win.  So what is the point of this exercise?

It's really amazing she has gotten away with all of this without any ramifications.

And even sadder that the GOP nominated a candidate that's just as disliked as she is.

Its done and gone. Over 60% of the nation is tired about hearing about the damn emails. This got released on labor day weekend, not to mention many people are focusing on a huge tropical storm effecting them and their family's, including myself. .

I'm not saying Clinton should be in jail. I trust Comey's judgment. But that doesn't mean her actions didn't invite serious questions regarding the safety of the critical information she was receiving from being intercepted by foreign governments. The FBI director doesn't go around calling people "extremely careless" on a daily basis, he did it for a reason. And I don't think it was to help Trump considering Comey isn't a registered republican anymore and hasn't been for months. I think it was to emphasize that people in government should be more careful, and even though this isn't necessarily illegal, they shouldn't do it as it makes our country less safe.

What exactly did she "get away" with?

After millions of dollars spent and too many Congressional investigations to count I still have no idea what Clinton allegedly did that was criminal.  For the level of pearl clutching that has been going on I would think in four or five lines someone could clearly without conjecture tell us what the hell this person allegedly did.

It's no coincidence this was released over Labor Day weekend. This is really all pretty terrible.

  • Clinton used the "I had a concussion excuse" as to whether she "remembers" taking training courses.
  • She told the FBI that she didn't know what classification markers meant.
  • She claimed to be hacked.
  • She lost, destroyed or damaged 11 cell phones over 4 years.
  • She withheld 17,500 e-mails, many of which were deleted right after the NY Times ran an article about the existence of the private server.

At minimum, she comes off looking like she's too dumb to be President.
It also looks like she's medically disqualified to become President, if she can't remember briefings as SoS, what makes you think she'll remember briefings as POTUS?
At maximum, she looks like a desperate liar, doing and saying whatever it takes to evade justice.

At the end of the day, this looks horrible in the court of public opinion. She should take her lumps for this absolute stupidity of setting up a home-brew server.

This board, and this country, is a divided disaster right now.

Red Avatars: This is just right wing BS! They've been trying to tear her down for decades! Why doesn't the media cover Drumpf's indiscretions?!? They're biased against Hillary!

Blue Avatars: This lying witch should be hanged! How is the media not covering this more?!? They're biased against Drumpf!

Green Avatars: Dur, I'm too cool to join either of your parties but I will have no problem giving you my opinion on how you run them! And the media is in the pockets of both parties!!!

Green avatars from other countries: I can't even vote in this election. But, I have nothing else to do with my life, so I'll troll the board all day and give my opinions as if they matter at all considering I'm not even American. Hum-dee-dum-dum!

Funny how trump supporters like to talk about "Clinton's sky-high disapproval ratings" when their orange-haired clown has even lower disapproval ratings.
So if Clinton's rating is "sky-high" what word can we use to describe trump's ?

Because she is very not forthcoming on the issues. If she came forward with all the information that people have questions about, it would be an issue. Its the constant I'll give you a little information then avoid talking about it that leads people to think that she has something very damning to hide. Trust is strongly related transparency. All she had to admit that she really f'd up with the emails and be done but HRC is very insecure about being wrong.

If it was that easy, she would done it like... yesterday. But she haven't held a press conference in months. She is just avoiding it and it creates a "trust" problems. Honestly, it might be too late. The damage might be permanent.

The FBI had access to all of this same information, and came to the conclusion that there was nothing to convict her on. Unless you think that you have better judgement on these issues than the ing FBI, which is basically what all of you are saying, I think it's time to get over this.

I'll read the entire FBI report and tell everybody what it said when I come back. brb

Also, how many here have actually read the entire thing? And not just excerpts from hit pieces on Clinton?
