Evergreen hasn't sworn in, so I don't believe this will be relevant; isn't there a time limit to swear in after election?

Nope. This is one of the things the Ad-Hoc Committee is working on fixing.


As a citizen and a public servant, I ask the House to move quickly and deliberately to remove Representative Evergreen from office. This degree of negligence is not only irresponsible, it is a threat to the health and survival of the game and must not be tolerated. I am glad to see legislators on both sides of the aisle coming out in force to support this resolution, and I am confident that the House will speak with one voice in condemning Evergreen's behavior and expelling her from this honorable chamber.

While I understand the difficulty with removing a democratically elected official from office; evergreen has remained entirely inactive from the house. evergreen never posted an LOA and despite PM's from other Atlasians to return to Atlasians, no response was ever received. At this time it is essential that we remove this inactive member and replace her with an active Atlasian. I would like to thank my fellow house members for their support on these proceedingsInactive.  members not only deprive active Atlasians a chance to participate in goverment, but also scuttle debate on important legislation.

Does anyone oppose this? Maybe I missed something when I was gone, but I don't believe I've seen anyone say that evergreen, after being gone for over a month, should not be removed.

Therefore, I'd like to echo Truman's sentiments--we need to get this done quickly so a hopefully fully active House can get to the real issues.
